Itinerary
Welcome to Calgary, where you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a Welcome Reception this evening in preparation for your winter holiday adventure. Stay: Calgary, Marriott Downtown Hotel
Depart Calgary and travel through the Rocky Mountains to Lake Louise, the ‘Jewel of the Rockies'. During winter, Lake Louise looks like something out of a fairytale: it's like a real-life snow globe with its glittering ice castles and a glassy skate rink. Enjoy time to sit back and take in this magnificent setting over dinner. Stay: Lake Louise, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise (B/D)

After breakfast, travel to Banff National Park where you'll be shown around on arrival. Then the afternoon is yours to spend at leisure. Stay Two Nights: Banff Park Lodge (B/D)
You have the entire day in Banff to explore however you choose. Perhaps take an ice walk through Johnston Canyon to admire the waterfalls and icefalls. You might enjoy a dog sled or sleigh ride instead. Or head out on a Banff Experience tour to discover the local township at your own expense. (B)
Return to Calgary for your included flight to Yellowknife. Upon arrival, you'll find winter apparel ready for you at your hotel. Layer up before it's time to head out on an experience that will undoubtedly be a highlight. Tonight, your Insider Experience awaits. Stay Three Nights: Yellowknife, Chateau Nova (B)

Return to Yellowknife where you'll take a tour through the town and enjoy the rare chance to drive via the Ice Road - weather dependent. These icy roads and highways provide an essential link between isolated towns during the winter, when otherwise these remote communities are inaccessible by land during the warmer months. (B)

Booking was a breeze through Global Journeys, Tracey was very wonderful and patient with me, regarding booking and booking flights and accommodation before and after the tour organized. Travelmarvel tour was great it was a small group of 18 and we all got along really well, the organization for the trip and what it entailed run like clockwork.
