I just completed the Cultures and Craters tour in Tanzania. It was the most amazing experience. We went into the lives of some of the local tribes of the Kilimanjaro region and got to interact with them using a translator. We got to ask questions and also answer their questions about our lives. The contrast of the tribes is also fascinating being so ...read more different but from the same region. To top it all off a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater where we saw lions, elephants, buffalo, gazelle, hippos, zebras and so many birds. We even spotted a giraffe on the outer rim! I would recommend this tour and Crooked Compass as a company to anyone wanting to take a different view of Africa.

I have just returned from Tanzania after experiencing the most amazing Culture and Craters tour with Lisa from Crooked Compass.
